lantos was a little over-the-top, but is his attack on natwar singh really far from the truth? isn't natwar a little, ahem, dense? and brilliant? maybe he is that too, or maybe lantos was trying to soften the blow a little. indian politicians and bureaucrats have been known to be too clever by half in the past.
i have always like natwar singh, because he looks exactly like the goofy, cuddly, giant flying dog with the long, floppy ears in that fantasy movie, was it 'never-ending story'? can't remember.
