Another day, another attack.
This time on one of the prime educational institutes of the nation. Signs of Pakistan getting further desperate and establishment getting further linient.
I guess with POTA out of the way now, the jehadis should not worry about getting caught. For them safeguards like Human Rights, Kuldeep Nayar, Praful Bidwai,Shabana Azmi,Teesta,NDTV,TOI et al are in place even if they are caught.
Why should CBI bother to investigate?
Forget and make merry !
IISC,IITs etc are anyways dominated by caste Hindus who do not count as vote banks. So Sonia Manio or Jaichand .. oops..Arjun Singh couldn't care less about these attacks.

I think next in the list of targets is one of the IT giants.(Infy,Wipro,Satyam..)

So IT guys better watch out.

Manmohan Singh says "he's shocked". Oh ya right.. now i feel relieved.

Madhwa - I detest that rag called Times of India masquerading as a newspaper but in reality peddles only overly sensational, often times false stories and attracts traffic to its pathetic website by using inflammatory and often baseless headlines that disappear next day and use titillation using words like "Sex" and "Rape". It's represents everything that's wrong with our minority-appeasing, "I-love-everything-white" english media.

How much impact does "venting opinions" have anyway ?

we need something more visible and
powerful than that, to make a clear
statement.

Madhwa, how about IISc going on
hunger strike or something, at least for a day, sometime first week of Jan...? That might make
front page headlines.

(oops, I forgot, I thought you are
in IISc now, I just realised you
are an alumnus. anybody from IISc
reading this ???)

The two so called premier news channels in India....were showing the report on this attack....but all along that 1 hr they talked about political repurcussions, motive of attack, cause of attack...blah blah blah...but none bothered to check whether the "terrorist" was caught..none bothered abt it..

huhh....neway wat is the use of catching terrorists...we cant even imprison them.....

why?? why??? why arent terrorists shot right after they are caught..why are the kept in jail??

How long will India try to defend itself from terrorists?? We need to hit the root of the problem...I like Hitler in this aspect..."Attack is the best form of defence".

Enough of defending against those jehadis...the defense spending is increasing day by day...

Build a wall similar to that China wall on the Bangladesh Border, throw the Jihadis out of Kashmir and get POK back...yes, there will be international pressure to do all these....but who cares...?? what will the international community do when all our IITs and IIMs are gone down in Jihadi attack...???

But this is all too much to expect under the present poliitcal conditions....Cant another Shivaji take birth?? cant there be another Vihayanagara empire??

This was kinda strange isnt, it ?

Prof. Puri, it seems, always wanted
to be remembered after he died. He
had talked of having a bench in a
park with his name on it.

And in Bangalore, his stay got
extended by two days just for the
conference.

Just for the conference ?

Prof. Puri ends up being attacked
and "remembered". Destiny chose
him to take the attack... ?

It seems police had heard some
days back that there were going to
be attacks in B'lore or Hyd.

Strange ways of destiny...?

Anyway, since IISc and IIT got
attacked, they are now entitled
to directly have a say in India's
foreign policy and India's
security.

Wake up IITians, IIScians, current
and former (and IIMers and other
similar groups....). Demand a say
in running the country. Dont leave
it to fools and thugs.

I dont think of it that way. IISc
is a peace haven. No one would have
suspected that terrorists would
come there. They must have all been
busy worrying about govt. offices
and govt. officials.
Who in their wildest dreams would
have thought of IISc being
attacked ?

Madhwa,
It would be a waste of time to spend time on TOI blogs. Here are better options

Spend time on popular western blogs propagating India's point of view(give links to articles by B.Raman (saag.org).

1. jihadwatch.org / dhimmiwatch.org (get more than 500,000 visitors per day from all over the world)
2. www.danielpipes.org
3. Little Green Footballs (but here registration is closed-opens sometimes)
4. http://www.brusselsjournal.com/ this is Europe based and widely read
5. westernresistance.com/ - this is also a widely read blog with goot coverage of global jihad

Several other western blogs cover Islam
gatesofvienna.blogspot.com/
http://libertyandculture.blogspot.com/

4. Set up your own blog about India related news (this requires more time to be spent regularly) and when you write to western blogs mentin your blog.
5. Donate $365/year to EkalVidyalay.

Also Koenraad Elst is on the list of writers mentioned in the left margin at www.brusselsjournal.com

By the way - show this article to all your american friends

America’s Earliest Terrorists
http://www.nationalreview.com/comment/london200512160955.asp

Excerpt from this article
Although there is much in the history of America’s wars with the Barbary pirates that is of direct relevance to the current “war on terror,” one aspect seems particularly instructive to informing our understanding of contemporary Islamic terrorists. Very simply put, the Barbary pirates were committed, militant Muslims who meant to do exactly what they said.

Take, for example, the 1786 meeting in London of Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, and Sidi Haji Abdul Rahman Adja, the Tripolitan ambassador to Britain. As American ambassadors to France and Britain respectively, Jefferson and Adams met with Ambassador Adja to negotiate a peace treaty and protect the United States from the threat of Barbary piracy.

These future United States presidents questioned the ambassador as to why his government was so hostile to the new American republic even though America had done nothing to provoke any such animosity. Ambassador Adja answered them, as they reported to the Continental Congress, “that it was founded on the Laws of their Prophet, that it was written in their Koran, that all nations who should not have acknowledged their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as Prisoners, and that every Musselman who should be slain in Battle was sure to go to Paradise.”
