damn. this is something to seriously worry about. these guys are rapidly upgrading their educational facilities and cutting into india's lead.
meanwhile, back at the ranch, arjun singh, in charge of higher education, indulges in wet dreams about mohammedans.
this single fact embodies the difference between india and china. in the former, we have demagogues running the place with no regard to national interests. in the latter, there are clear-thinking nationalists (who may be barbarians in other ways, but they sure are nationalists).
