there would have been a lot of fuss in the ELM about the killing of this fellow. the implication would have been that the rich hindu parents of the girl arranged for the poor mohammedan boy to be murdered. after all, poor 'minority' people are harassed all the time by hindus [sic]
but soniya is right, the chances are much greater that the fundie mohammedans bumped off a potential apostate converting out of their flock.
i think a new 'fatwa' needs to be created in hinduism too so that anybody converting out of it is summarily murdered. after all, according to the 'seculars', all religions are equal, so that if conversion out of mohammedanism is forbidden, so should be conversion out of hinduism.
