what a perfect time to position buddhadeb as the great bengali hope! poor james astill is not having a good time, is he? just when he wants to praise buddhadeb, buddha has to go do his mussolini thing! ROTFL

james astill is really having a bad time. his favorite dictator is being excoriated by the yank media. i found his reporting on the lawyers rioting quite entertaining -- he focused on the 'black suits' and 'sleek mustaches' of the lawyers (male) and the clothes of the female lawyers 'several well-groomed women wearing expensive sunglasses'. i was left wondering, was he reporting on a fashion show, or what? clearly the virile afghans have impressed him a great deal, and in his defense, he must be hanging out with those dipweeds from JNU and the ELM including the sling-bagged boys and girls with the facial hair.

I wouldn't find fault with the limey for being fascinated by those Pakistani babes. Not sure what the Pakis feed their women, but I'll take them any day over Medha Patkar, Arundhati Roy, Nirmala Deshpande, Teesta, Shabana etc.....
