Here's wishing all readers a safe and prosperous Diwali.
On this day of 'naraka chaturdashi', we in Maharashtra celebrate the victory of good over evil.
Hopefully the next few months will give the good, which has been smothered by an incubus-like pall of the evil, a chance to rise again.

Happy Diwali to all. Yes lets celebrate Lord Krishna's slaying of the demon Narakasura. May we be delivered from the present set of narakasuras in the coming general election.
BTW, the PSLV blasting off and racing towards the moon is probably the best Diwali rocket for us Hindus this year!
