The lesson: Unlike India's personality-driven, sentiment-laced approach, US foreign policy is shaped by institutional processes that preclude abrupt U-turns or shifts.

Not with the Ditherer in Chief. He is a narcissist and his actions are personality driven. I believe Indians gift mangoes to foreign leaders. The best gift for Obama will be a MIRROR.

It is also wrong to say that Manmoron did not achieve anything. This time, there was an unintended achievement. He expressed concern that US may pull out of Afghanistan and the Narcissist reluctantly agreed to send troops in accordance with the request of the General. India probably sold itself by agreeing for the bogus carbon trading idea.
