agriculture and food are the most important priorities we have.
others have learned what we are still reluctant to admit: good land is a precious asset. they go out and grab land elsewhere (the chinese always used to do this demographic aggression, now they are buying land) while we pave ours over and build monstrous 'satanic mills'. not exactly a smart move.
