obama to india: "drop dead!", brings in robin raphel for pak aid

nov 11th, 2009

this is robin raphel of the "pakistan is a modern, moderate, model mohammedan country" fame. in other words, a seriously deluded woman, who also simply hates india. james "i love paks" astill of the 'atlanticist' must be delirious with joy: kindred soul, she.

do we need any more proof that obama hates india? hey, truti and other obama fans, what say you now? the manchurian is repaying his debt to those who bankrolled him.

this is what i wrote elsewhere recently (excerpt):

Liberal-left types in the West, despite protestations to the contrary, are fascinated by totalitarians and fascists. They are impressed by Vietnamese who defeated them, and Chinese who fought them to a standstill in Korea. Obama is the only U.S. president in recent years to have refused to meet His Highness the Dalai Lama, as appeasing China is high on his agenda; thus the Democratic fascination with Mohammedan tyrants as well. Victor Davis Hanson of the Hoover Institution wrote in the Wall Street Journal that Obama may be following in Jimmy Carter's footsteps: he of the MEOW (moral equivalent of war) who groveled to Middle-Easterners, bringing upon himself the Iran hostage crisis that destroyed his presidency.

Obama is going down this path with his Af-Pak policy, which consists primarily of outsourcing the Afghan problem to Pakistan's ISI, to be followed by the United States declaring victory and leaving. He is ignoring the instructive example of Neville Chamberlain appeasing Hitler . Meanwhile the ISI cannot believe its good luck: Obama is showering billions on them on top of the $11 billion that Bush has already given them, with nothing to show for it.

It is not that the Republicans are great for India, either. Bush's main intent was to seduce India, with flattery and  a few transfers to numbered Swiss bank accounts, to buy nuclear technology from the United States, with the fringe-benefit of the acquiescence of India to nuclear apartheid. (And it was easy to make this happen). To grant him his due, Bush was not enamored of the Sino-Mohammedan axis, and did wish to contain the rampant Chinese, using India as an ally.

Fundamentally the US does not respect India as an ally. India is only a source of raw materials and a market. And India does not deserve respect, either. A wimpish (yet moralizing) India—which cannot deter even a failed state like Pakistan—is merely a bystander, an extra in the big scheme of things. A nation that has no long-term strategic intent, and whose leaders are venal and easily purchased, is a banana republic. Unlike China, which intends to rule the world, India, which imagines itself as an also-ran, is destined to remain so. Welcome to realpolitik; democracy be damned.

Given Bush's proximity to Falwell, Dobson, Robertson etal, it is also quite likely that Bush may have played a behind-the-scenes role in some 100,000 rapacious missionaries sneaking in and spreading all over India (and doing their dirty work: one, two. three.) Although it wasn't too obvious when he was Prez, Bush was indeed a strong crusader through out the presidency which he stole from Al Gore.

Obama does seem to have a lot Muslim sympathy than it seemed. Too bad, I wasted hundreds of hours trying to get him elected.

Last time Indian home minister Chavan went to receive Raphael in the airport - even though she was a junior official. And MMS is even more supine than Rao. To give the devil his due - Obama never made secret of his hatred for India - as he inserted two draconian clauses in 1-2-3 saying , otherwise Pakistan would be insecure ( the "balance of power in subcontinent" was the verbiage).
Needlesss to say, after Raphael's appointment NRIs would worship Obama even more - they worshipped and funded him even when he was inserting clauses and making known his anti H1 views. Yes, Indians deserve nothing better - we have a collective Stockholm Syndrome. Even the NRIs - far away from India - are not immune.

Robin Raphel was recently divorced from the 18th U.S. ambassador in Pakistan, Arnold Raphel, when he perished in the mysterious aircrash that also killed Pakistan military dictator General Ziaul Haq and top brass of his military on August 17, 1988.

She has experience in doling out US aid - she was Coordinator for Iraq Reconstruction before she retired from the US State Department in 2005.

More recently, she had the dubious distinction of being a lobbyist for the former military regime of General Pervez Musharraf and who also has close ties with the Taliban as part of her lobbying for UNOCAL.
