Hi Rajeev,

I would like to know your email id. Since I do not have your id, I am posting something here. Please remove this comment after reading it.

The below link shows the news of setting up of seven news study centers at Kalady Sankaracharya University. This happened in 2008.

http://www.hindu.com/edu/2008/10/14/stories/2008101450120300.htm

When the new VC took charge, all these study centers were stopped. The irony is that there are courses in Arabic, but Sanskrit is being pushed aside. The people of the locality were raising their voices in many fora and for last two years were protesting using all possible Gandhian methods. But their demands were falling on deaf years. Being fed up by this apathy from the part of the Govt, they are planning a huge blockade on this Sep 26th at the university center. They have got support from dozens of organizations. One of the co-ordinators requested me to help them publicize this news. I am waiting for more details and a fax/scanned copy of their notice.

Please help publicize this. Please suggest ways to spread this through internet.
