Japan Launches Largest Warship Since WW2

Japan's navy has launched its largest warship since the Second World War - the Izumo, which it calls a destroyer, due to Japan's constitutional limits against deploying offensive weapons:

As you can see from the hard-deck on this vessel, it's really an aircraft carrier by any other name.
