It was Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi who pointed out that Shri Narendra Modi is the voice of the people.
In a discussion of Shri Narendra Modi's speech on Independence Day(CNNIBN)there were 3 participants : Siddharth Varadarajan ( Editor of The Hindu), Shiv Viswanathan (sociologist) and Swapan Das Gupta (senior journalist). Both Varadarajan and Viswanathan took Modi to task for not being top drawer. That is, ofcourse, a colonial style viewpoint which saw anyone who is not 'classy' as not having 'form.'
