Japan to Create Its Own DARPA

Using America's Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency as an example, Japan plans to create its own counterpart to engage in high-risk high-payoff research for military purposes:

Well, DARPA has famously developed revolutionary disrupted technologies which became quite transformative for the world. Perhaps a similar effort by Japan will have a similar impact. Japan's own prowess in science and technology is quite reknowned, and they should certainly press their strong suit. Hopefully, they'll chalk up a better track record than our DRDO.
