I'm pretty sure she didn't actually run a Marathon (26+ miles). I think it was probably a run of a few Kms perhaps three kms (going by a NDTV report that was suitably vague about the whole thing). Another website said it had 9000+ participants with large numbers of senior citizens. And the place is Baramati, not a known center of Marathon events, - it was the Baramati Sharad "Marathon" in honor of the "honorable" Sharad Pawar. More circumstantial evidence that it wasn't a Marathon. Typical imprecise Indian news.
